PLEXIA EMR is a web-based solution for physicians, which is powered by SQL
Server and Microsoft IIS. It takes advantage of common Internet browsing skills
to deliver a powerful application with the support of a secure web-server and a
robust database.
This system can be modified to suit new users. It can be used within a large
academic centre or in a solo community practice. Existing PCs with Internet
Explorer 6.0+ are compatible with this system, reducing total acquisition cost.
The system can be modified to make use of existing hardware and software.
Secure firewall systems allow remote access and off-site automated backup.
Physicians can safely access patient information off-site using 168 bit
encryption (higher than the standard 128 bit encryption for internet credit
card retailing). Plexia can backup your system daily using the same level of
security. You can focus on patient care and/or research.
Plexia EMR provides one-stop medical office technology and automation.
In addition to providing customized EMR solution, Plexia provides free hardware
consultation and advice to clients. Plexia can provide equipment for
clients including installation and training. Upon request from our
clients, we will provide hardware and third party software support.
Plexia will provide hardware consultation and advice for clients. This
service is provided free of charge. This includes hardware selection,
network planning, and network security.
Upon request, Plexia can provide hardware and third party software sales,
including Microsoft products. Unless otherwise specified, Plexia will
deliver an install all hardware and third party software. After
installation, hardware support, services and warranty are provided by the
manufacturers.
Plexia can organize your Dell purchases. We will select the appropriate
equipment for clients. We can purchase the equipment for our clients at
Dell's web-based prices. For sale price items, we may charge $25 per
item. In general, we charge our clients an amount equivalent to the
discount we negotiate for them. That is, they pay what Dell normally
charges for Internet purchases
Plexia will assist our clients in all hardware and software needs. We
charge our clients a nominal $75 per hour fee to cover our operating cost.
